and that of the black american masters of music that are my lifelong main influences on the piano

my playing has been heard with david binney, alfredo colon, JSQ!, joe morris, doyeon kim, michael formanek, jahnvi madan, and in collaboration with rashid johnson

my formal education in music was at new england conservatory, where i studied piano with jason moran, bruce brubaker, frank carlberg, and ethan iverson; and improvisation with nasheet waits, billy hart, joe morris, and doyeon kim​

i currently play in my band FUGITIVE, with harrison clark, shogo yamagishi, and mark valdes

and in eriomarie with ariel vera, violet reiss, and kabir adhiya-kumar​
